SPACESHIPS AND SAUSAGE ROLLS

Amir Williams, Pete Adams, and Nick Galloway made up team Avalaan in Bristol's very own skate video contest: Olliewood.

All teams had only 40 hours to skate, film and edit a 2 minute movie that would then be aired to and judged by the other teams.

Amir Williams showed up from Brighton, having just had some mad operation on his mouth, and was 'high as a kite' on painkillers.... Pete Adams showed up early at the Avalaan store, and later that afternoon team Avalaan gathered at Nick Galloway's house in Bristol. Sitting down over a coffee, a smoke and with pens and paper in hand they started to hatch their plan to shred and dominate Bristol over the next 40 hours. Team Avalaan's only aim was to have as much fun as possible.
With little sleep; Oscar Massive Hands as the chauffeur; and a crackpot story line, including spaceships, robots, sausage rolls, and ray guns, team Avalaan got lost in Bristol. AFter some early issues with recording over some dope lines, team AValaan soon found their rhythm. Taking shifts on editing, and rolling through the night the video was completed with minutes to spare. Rushing through Bristol traffic in the 'Avavan', with Oscar Massive Hands at the wheel, the video was handed at Fifty Fifty. Finished. Sleep.. or cider??

So after 40 hours of filming all were sat in anticipation of who was going to be crowned Olliewood champions in the Cube Cinema in Bristol.
13 movies later, and some ridiculous skating, story lines and antics the votes had been cast.

Team Avalaan came in 7th, with some confused looks in the crowd seeing as they had tried to cram a full 3 hour feature length film into only 120 seconds.
Its best to watch the movie.... here it is, with some pictures to show what went down.
