ispo - The international trade fair for sporting goods and sports fashion in Munich. AKA one giant massive party, with some trading thrown in for good measure.

We sent Avalaan boss Logan Hall to the four-day event this February, and watched the chaos that ensued!

Held at the new Munich Trade Fair Centre, the 'big bad wolf' of tradeshows features over 2000 different brands and is a Mecca for all things snowsport. This show is so big you need a skateboard to get around.....

We got hold of a few photos from the boss-man, so look no further for Avalaan's very own holiday photos..... no sorry, i mean ISPO photos!

Snow? What snow...

Traffic? What traffic... Oh, lots of traffic, or so we were told... With over 3000 km of road, and about 2999km of traffic jams this trip was long!! 

The setting up of the Ava'space began, and took its time...... but we were going to do some business here, so it had to look 'Pimp'! 

As did the drinking...

And... Fighting?... this was a skating injury. Monkey Magic, showing us how it gets done.... and goes down hard! 

And, even more drinking... with some serious twinning going down. Remember, you ain't winning unless you are twinning! 

 Then the hangovers set in... Though it's difficult to tell, this could possibly be mistaken for boredom? Familia Szczepan Karpiel showing us that ISPO is hard work.....

Still, life goes on... People came, people saw the exciting new Autumn/Winter 2010 range.... Avalaan conquered.

When life gives you lemons, Avalaan goes riding. Who could pass up an opportunity like this?

So just after ISPO, the Avalaan gang thought it would be wise to take in some snow and hit up the park and plentiful powder in Mayhofer.  

(Pssst... All that excitement proved too much for one member of the Avalaan team... guess who?)

When asked for a few words about his trip to Munich and beyond, Avalaan boss Logan Hall replied 'no comment' and went back to bed. Roll on next year?
